One team from first site visit to everyday operations.

Most biomass projects fail in the gaps between feedstock, machinery and the people running the plant. We take responsibility for all three, so you deal with one team instead of five vendors.

Inside a pellet mill: residue in, fuel out.

Crop residue is dried and ground, then pressed through a turning ring die by heavy rollers. What comes out is dense, uniform fuel that replaces coal. We set up every stage of this line and keep it running.

  1. FeedDried, ground residue enters the hopper.
  2. PressRollers force it through the ring-die holes.
  3. PelletsFuel pellets leave the die, cool and are bagged.

How a KSR project runs.

Every plant starts with the material, not the machine. The order below is the order we work in on every project.

  1. Study the feedstock

Which residues grow near your site, in which months, at what moisture and price. This decides pellets, briquettes or CBG.

  2. Size and design

Capacity, drying, size reduction and densification matched to the feedstock. You get a layout, machinery list and budget first.

  3. Install and commission

Our engineers coordinate vendors, run trial batches and train operators until the plant reaches rated output.

  4. Operate and supply

After handover we can run the plant, maintain it and keep feedstock and fuel moving under a monthly contract.

Why now is the time to build.

Demand for biomass fuel and biogas in India is growing fast. These are national figures from independent sources, not KSR results.

Every tonne of biomass pellets burned in place of coal turns crop residue into clean energy, instead of smoke from burning fields.

Why plant owners choose KSR.

Most providers sell one piece of the project. KSR stays responsible from the first feedstock test to the fuel truck that leaves your plant.

  • One contract, whole plantSetup, operations, maintenance and fuel from a single team.
  • Engineers, not salespeopleAn M.Tech renewable energy lead and a mechanical engineer run every project.
  • Proven across 10 statesPlants running on different crops, climates and boiler types.

Pellets or briquettes?

Both replace coal in industrial boilers. The right one depends on how your boiler is fed and how far the fuel travels.

Compressed biogas (CBG) projects.

CBG turns press mud, cattle dung, crop residue and food waste into a fuel that replaces CNG. We support developers from the feedstock plan through commissioning.

Our scope covers site and feedstock assessment, technology and equipment coordination, installation supervision, commissioning and operator training.

Discuss a CBG project

After handover, we stay.

A plant earns money only on the days it runs. Our O&M contracts are built around uptime, not call-outs.

Preventive maintenance

Scheduled checks on dies, rollers, hammers, dryers and conveyors before they fail.

Trained operators

Operators placed and trained at your plant, with shift and safety routines.

Fast fixes

Engineers on call for breakdowns, with spares planned ahead.

Fuel in step

Feedstock buying and storage planned against your production schedule.

What does KSR Green Bharat do?

KSR Green Bharat sets up, operates and maintains biomass pellet, briquette and compressed biogas (CBG) plants, and manages biomass fuel supply for industries. The team is based in Kota, Rajasthan.

In which states does KSR Green Bharat have plants?

KSR Green Bharat has plants in 10 states: Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Punjab and Uttarakhand. New projects are taken up across India.

How much does a biomass pellet or briquette plant cost?

Cost depends on capacity, the feedstock, how much drying it needs and the level of automation. Briquette plants usually need less investment than pellet plants. Share your feedstock, location and target output and we will send a costed estimate.

Which raw materials can be used?

Common inputs are mustard husk, soybean straw, paddy and wheat straw, groundnut shells, cotton stalk, bagasse and sawdust. We test moisture and ash content before recommending pellets or briquettes.

Can you take over operations and maintenance of an existing plant?

Yes. We review the plant, fix the immediate problems and can then run it under a monthly O&M contract with trained operators, preventive maintenance and spares planning.

Do you supply biomass fuel to industries?

Yes. We arrange pellets, briquettes and raw biomass for boilers, furnaces and kilns, with storage and a delivery schedule matched to your consumption.

Is government support available for biomass and CBG plants?

Central schemes from MNRE support briquette and pellet plants, and the SATAT initiative supports CBG offtake. Terms change, so we check your eligibility during project planning.

What should I share when I enquire?

Your site location, available feedstock, expected capacity, timeline and any equipment or drawings you already have. You can start the conversation even if some details are still open.

Tell us about your plant.

New project, a plant that needs fixing, or a fuel requirement. Share what you know and an engineer will reply within one working day.
